This Remington manufactured green, red and white cardboard box contains 31 of the original 50 rounds of Kleanbore 22 Long ammunition with copper cases and lubricated bullets and is in very good to near excellent condition with light wear and a dent on the top. The white portions of the box have turned tan with age and the cardboard ammo tray is missing a triangular piece next to one corner. This box displays the AB-1 bottom with the exception that the patent number appears to read "No. 1.107.5.9". The end flaps do not display a distance warning but both end flaps do display the #7 style red ink printed message on the inside. The front panel is similar to the IV style. The difference observed is that this box displays a period in front of "22" (.22). The back panel does not match any of Huegel's examples. This box displays a semi-circle thumb cut on the right end of the box. The copper casings display the "U-3" headstamp and have a tarnish present.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1930 and was dropped from production sometime between 1936 and 1940.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # REM-7.2 L-1(d) variation. The difference observed is that the patent number on the bottom of the box appears to read "No. 1.107.5.9".
